Leukemia has hit the Trojan family in the past year, with former player Kenechi Udeze fighting the disease and former head coach Larry Smith dying of the sickness in January.
Now you have the chance to help fight the battle through the USC vs. UCLA Bone Marrow Challenge. Come to Alumni Park on Nov. 5-7 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. to register your bone marrow and help those struck with leukemia.
NOTE: The Nov. 5-7 drive on campus doesn't actually take bone marrow (like a blood drive) but instead allows you to add your name to a registry of potential donors by giving a cheek cell swab.

Why UCLA and USC? From the Web site:
These schools offer a variety of much-needed ethnically diverse donors. Tradition of their longstanding rivalry and the love and support of these two Los Angeles schools will undoubtedly bring attention and awareness to a worthy, life-saving cause.
